Today we went to Sweets Cafe KYOTO KEIZO in Sanjo Shopping Street.
It's a cafe in a machiya over 100 years old, left just as it is.
We ordered their signature dessert, the "10 minutes Mont Blanc."

There's a meringue inside, and they say its texture changes after ten minutes.
So the best-before time is ten minutes.
It's only available for the summer, until August 31.
A card came with it, and it said, "Please enjoy your blissful ten minutes."
Next, we went to Bivi Kyoto Nijo.
There's a vending machine here that squeezes fresh orange juice.
Press the button and the machine cuts three or four whole oranges, squeezes them, and pours the juice into a cup.
It's fun to watch the whole process through the glass.
Fresh squeezed orange juice was really on another level.
And again, we enjoyed the blissful minutes, this time with orange juice.
