June 28, 2025 At the Threshold of the Future

Today it was very hot and the sun was really strong, so we met later than usual, at 4PM.
First, we went to a cafe on Nishinotoin Street.
We enjoyed an iced chocolate and beautiful latte art arranged on a clear glass tray, and then, we relaxed with a delicate taste of individually wrapped cocoa canele.
Then, we moved on to a cafe between Nijo Yanaginobanba and Nijo Tominokoji, and we had a relaxing time there.
For dinner, I felt like having ramen, so we headed to a ramen shop nearby, but they were still in preparation,
so we went west along Nijo Street and turned onto Oshikoji Street, and went to a newly opened Korean restaurant in Bivi.
But this time too they were so busy that they were accepting only reservations, which reminded me of the last time we had come here, at that time too they were so busy that we couldn't get in.
I thought next time, we would make a reservation to enjoy a delicious Korean dining.
We ended up visiting a sushi shop nearby, but here too we had to wait almost 2 hours.
Giving up again, we went south along Shichihonmatsu Street to the mall on Gojo Street, but almost all restaurants were preparing for closing up for the night.
Finally, we had dinner at a sushi shop on Shijo Street.
On our way home, we stopped by a supermarket in Shijo Omiya to pick up some groceries.
