March 4, 2025 Still the Same Old Me

I visited my parents because I was on a business trip near their place.
It was drizzling a bit when I left. There were big puddles on the road, so I had to go around them.
On the way home, I fell asleep on the train and missed my stop.
I should have gotten off at the station before that.
This station brings back old memories.
At that time, this station was still at ground level (now it is elevated).
When I was in my first year of junior high school, I missed my stop and panicked while waiting for the next train.
That was during my very first midterm, and I was panicking because I was going to be late for the exam!
Still, I can remember that scene clearly in my mind.
And after all these years, I've come to realize that some things have never changed.
