November 20, 2024 : Planting the Seeds and Waiting for the Sprouts

I went to an external safety and health committee meeting.
And today's job was done without a hitch, and I feel I'm the happiest.
When a job goes smoothly, that's the happiest moment for me.
This company has really really changed.
When I first came here about three years ago, this company had no interest in things like the working environment or the mental health of the workers.
The meeting used to end with almost nothing more than the announcement of the working hours of the overtime workers, but things have improved rapidly in recent months.
They began to seriously consider measures to prevent serious illness among workers at high risk of mental health problems,
and began to seriously discuss measures to reduce the hours of workers who work overtime.
Now I really feel the importance of waiting.
Planting the seeds and waiting for the sprouts.
Every time I come here I feel the importance of waiting.
The ancestors' saying, "If the cuckoo doesn't sing, wait until it does", is true.
