May 7, 2024 : Places That Have Been Cherished by the Children for a Long Time

On my way home from work, I visited my parents. While there, my mother told me a story about her childhood.
She said that when she was a child, she used to go to Shimogamo Shrine to play with her friends.
They went to the place where it is said that if you put your feet in the water and walk, you won't get sick, and they all walked together.
She also told me a story about going to the Kamo River Delta and then to the Kyoto Imperial Palace.
They seemed to be having a lot of fun, and I thought that children born in this area would enjoy having so many places to play.
Today, I have come to realize that the places that are the favorites of the tourists are also the places that have been cherished by the children for a long time.
