A girl asked me, "Can taking tranexamic acid increase the risk of blood clots after vaccination?"
Tranexamic acid helps blood to clot, and she was worried about an increased risk of blood clots from the side effects of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
At first, they say that blood clotting is attributed to AstraZeneca's, later some start to say that it's as common with Moderna and Pfizer as it is with AstraZeneca.
And my answer is, the risk is so rare in each case that it shouldn't be counted as a risk, because the great benefits outweigh the disadvantages.
