March 24, 2007 : Class That Remembers Nothing
© 安岡喜晴 (JoyShine)

I rebuilt the XML library from the ground up.

In the old one, the class remembered which file it was working on.
So before calling a method, that value had to be correct.

Public Function FindParentsElementAndAddNewChildElement(ByVal ParentsElement As String, ByVal NewChildElement As String, ByVal NewChildsInnerText As String) As Boolean

The function that took care of it had become nothing but commented-out lines.
The calls to it were still there, in seven places.

In the new one, the file is passed in every time.
The class remembers nothing.

Public Function Find_ParentsElement_And_Add_NewChildElement _
(ByVal Target_File As String, _
ByVal ParentsElement_Name_To_Add As String, _
ByVal New_ChildElement_Name_To_Add As String, _
ByVal New_ChildElement_InnerText_To_Set As String) As Boolean

Two thousand lines became eight hundred.
