February 22, 2006 : My 28th Birthday

Today is my birthday. I'm turning 28 this time.
I'm not sure whether I should take it as "already 28" or "still only 28."
It's been exactly 10 years this year since I started studying. Kind of a milestone.
Around this time 10 years ago, I was being taught English by my sister, who had majored in English literature.
But not that we studied together much. Only 5 or 6 times, if I remember right (lol).
March 15, 21 days after this day 10 years ago, was when I had a karaoke party with my high school friends at a karaoke place in Nagaoka.
Ahh, those were the days. I really miss that time.
One of the friends I partied with is getting married this year, which is wonderful news.
The more the people around me move forward, the more nostalgic I feel for the past.
By the way, I'm really the nostalgic type.
I'm always going "ahh, this place brings back memories!!" (lol).
And at the same time, I often get told, "How do you remember all that stuff?!"
What does that mean, I wonder. Am I the nostalgic type because I remember things well?
Does that mean people who don't have good memories don't feel nostalgic very often?
I'm not sure.
