Saturday, January 1, 2005 : Happy New Year 2005!

Tonight we had a small New Year's party with my family.
While the New Year was unfolding, I hurried to our party place.
The reason I had to run was to finish a bowl of buckwheat noodles before midnight, since eating soba on New Year's Eve is a traditional Japanese custom.
However, even though I rushed to the place, I was 40 seconds late.
I could not make it in time.
It was really an extreme way to start the year!
