February 18, 2002 : Midnight Long Walk Journey

I missed the last train to the station near my apartment, so I had to get off on the way.
At first I thought about taking a taxi, but then I had a stupid yet interesting idea: to walk to my apartment from there.
Even though it was already past midnight, I couldn't resist this silly idea.
So I started walking from the station, and after a few dozen minutes, I reached a wide street.
I wasn't sure, but it seemed to be a national route.
I kept walking on the sidewalk along the road and came into a residential area.
There wasn't a sound of anyone around, and I gradually grew afraid of the gloomy place, so I hurried through it.
After a while I came to an elevated railway line and went under it.
Then I found myself on a long, winding road with no idea where it led, so I finally gave in and took a taxi, reaching my apartment after 4:30 AM.
Even though today was the first day of my pathology practical, I didn't sleep at all.
