Monday, July 2, 2001 : Hectic Morning

I forced myself up in the morning, only to find school was closed for the founding anniversary.
Maybe I was panicking because my friends had told me a rumor that every time you miss a forensics class, 10 points are deducted from your grade.
I thought that would be really annoying.
I've already missed 3 classes, so 30 points have been taken off, which means even a perfect score would only give me 70.
Since I need at least 60 to pass, I'd have to score around 90 on the exam.
So I forced myself out of bed and hurried to school.
But I was told the school was closed, for that reason.
That was a close one! Still, I wonder if the rumor is true.
