SCORAD (SCORing Atopic Dermatitis)

Grades atopic dermatitis (eczema) severity by combining affected body-surface extent, intensity of representative lesions, and patient-reported itch and sleep loss — with full and objective (oSCORAD) modes — to support consistent assessment and follow-up.

Mode

A — Extent of affected skin (rule of nines, % body surface)

B1 — Erythema (redness)

B2 — Oedema / papulation

B3 — Oozing / crusts

B4 — Excoriation (scratch marks)

B5 — Lichenification (skin thickening)

B6 — Dryness (assessed on UNINVOLVED / non-inflamed skin)

C1 — Pruritus (itch) over last 3 days/nights, 10-cm VAS (Full mode only)

C2 — Sleeplessness over last 3 days/nights, 10-cm VAS (Full mode only)
