El-Ganzouri Risk Index (EGRI)

Stratifies the risk of difficult laryngoscopy and tracheal intubation from seven preoperative airway findings; this is the El-Ganzouri multivariate airway risk index (also published as the Simplified Airway Risk Index / SARI, with identical scoring), and it is a preoperative screening aid that does not replace hands-on clinical airway evaluation, planning, or preparedness.
