Amniotic Fluid Index / Deepest Pocket (AFI / DVP)

Classifies second/third-trimester amniotic fluid volume as oligohydramnios, normal, or polyhydramnios from ultrasound using either the four-quadrant Amniotic Fluid Index or a single deepest vertical pocket; the two methods use different cutoffs (AFI 5/24 cm vs single-pocket 2/8 cm), so pick the method actually measured and never read a single-pocket value against the AFI thresholds.
